It runs for TSV Peißenberg in the district league 2. SV Münsing achieved the second win of the season.
Unnecessarily, however, the Peissenbergers got into trouble.
Peißenberg – This is how it works: Two months ago, still with one foot in the district league, TSV Peißenberg is at the top of its district league group 2 after two matchdays of the new season -The Peißenbergers' away win was never in question, with the exception of the turbulent final minutes.
In the final minute, Münsing's youngster Michael Geiger scored to make it 1:2.
The hosts somehow tried to equalize with corner kicks and desperate shots, but ultimately missed the target.
The Peißenberger could have easily avoided the final chaos.
"If we use our counterattacks better," stressed coach Michael Stossberger.
TSV Peißenberg negligent on the counterattack
But the omissions had their origin in the first part of the game.
Namely, when both Hubert Jungmann and Maxi Hohe Nadel were free in front of SV keeper Tobias Werner, but the target water had obviously already evaporated from the summer heat.
"It has to be 4-0 at half-time," said Stossberger.
All in all, the player-coach, who was not active himself this time, could also be satisfied with half the result.
Because his team was clearly superior to everyone.
Hubert Jungmann scored after a cross from Phillip Solleder (25'), brother Johannes followed suit (45'+1').
He played two Münsingers close to the edge of the penalty area before skillfully sinking the ball into the far corner of the goal.
Münsing, without five top performers, relied on morale and fighting spirit from then on.
Geiger's bang on the lower edge of the crossbar was initially the only excitement for the stable TSV defense.
Nevertheless, as in the previous week, TSV got into trouble unnecessarily.
"We have to be smarter when it comes to leadership," Stossberger summed up.
