The European Artistic Swimming Championships closed today (Monday) in Rome with two more achievements for the Israeli team.
First it was the duet, Shelly Bobritsky and Ariel Nashi, who finished in sixth place in the technical exercise.
This is a comparison of the record achievement that the two recorded just the other day, with the score also being particularly high, 84.3681 points, which left strong teams like Great Britain and Germany behind.
Israel's team team then finished in fifth place in the free exercise final.
The eight female swimmers earned a score of 86.0333 points, almost one point higher than the score in the qualifiers.
The team's composition: Shelly Bobritsky, Polina Prikazchikova, Maya Dorf, Ariel Nashi, Nikol Nakhshonov, Noy Gazela, Kati Kunin and Shani Shraizin, and the substitutes Neta Robichak and Avital Podkofiev.
With this, the team, led by coaches Anna Tres, Svetlana Belcher and Risa Kunin, concludes a particularly successful championship, which included two record rankings in the duet exercises (in their debut together in a major competition), fifth place three times in the group exercises and the free combo and seventh place in the free solo exercise by Polina Prikzach Yakoba
This, after the historic achievements that were also recorded in the World Championship about a month and a half ago that placed Israel at the top of the continent and the world in the industry.
