District league: BC Attaching didn't take advantage of their chances and lost 1-0 to FC Aschheim.
Freising
– Now the district league kickers from BC Attaching have also been hit at home.
In the home game against FC Aschheim, the promoted team suffered a narrow and, according to coach Enes Mehmedovic, "unnecessary" 0-1 defeat.
"Unfortunately it wasn't enough.
We can be satisfied with our performance, but not with the exploitation of our chances,” the BCA coach continued.
With the promoted team from Attaching and the league changer FC Aschheim (from the district league east we went to the north group), two of the strongest defensive teams of the first three match days met.
Both could improve on offense.
So a peat festival would have been a big surprise.
That didn't happen either, although a few more goals would have been possible.
Then, if the Attachinger had acted happier in the end.
Didier Nguelefack had two good chances from the home team in the first half.
In addition, Stephan Fürst, who was rotated into the starting eleven, missed the lead for the BCA.
On the other side, goalkeeper Hans Gamperl initially had little to do.
Penalty brings the decision
Even after the change of sides, nothing changed in Gamperl's quiet afternoon.
Nevertheless, the captain had to fish the ball out of his box in the 51st minute after Maximilian Finke converted a penalty kick to make it 0-1.
The Attachinger didn't allow much more.
"It's great how we defend.
But there isn't enough up front, although we're doing well," said Mehmedovic.
And further: "But if you don't take the chances, that's also a bit of an inability.
We make the wrong decisions too often.”
Attaching tried a lot, but the promoted team was unable to equalize.
After the 2-1 defeat in Kammerberg during the week, the BCA had to admit defeat for the second time this season.
"We don't reward ourselves.
For me as a coach, it's still important to see that we can keep up," said Mehmedovic.
The opponent now provides the best defense in the league.
Aschheim only conceded two goals.
Attaching followed closely behind with three goals conceded, but the BCA had to get their finishing weakness under control.
