Dor Peretz (27) officially returned to Maccabi Tel Aviv this evening (Monday) after the midfielder who played last season in Venice, Italy, successfully passed medical tests at Assaf Harofeh and signed a contract until the end of the 2024/25 season with an extension option.

Peretz will earn about 550 thousand euros per season.

Peretz, who will wear the number 42 shirt again at Maccabi, told the official website after the signing: "It's exciting to be back home. It feels like I never left. Peretz, joined Venice at the beginning of the 2021/22 season and made 18 appearances in the Italian first league and in 3 more cup games.

In seven years in Maccabi's senior team, Peretz won 11 titles: 3 championships (14/15, 18/19 and 19/20), 2 Medina Cups (14/15 20/21), 4 Toto Cups (14/15, 17/18, 18/19 and 20/21), and 2 Champions of Champions trophies (19/20, 20/21).
