VfL Denklingen remains undefeated in the southern district league.
However, the team showed two faces in the 1-1 draw away against TSV Großhadern.
Denklingen – One half hui, the other ugh – the bottom line was that VfL Denklingen had their third draw in the fourth game of the southern district league.
At TSV Großhadern, coach Markus Ansorge's team drew 1-1 (0-1).
"The result is in line with performance," summed up Ansorge with some satisfaction.
His team left the positive impressions in the second half.
"We showed what we can do," said Ansorge.
On the other hand, VfL remained well below their potential before the break.
"We weren't really on the pitch and had problems defending TSV's attacks," complained Ansorge.
The hosts dominated the action on the small pitch in Großhadern at the beginning.
The Denklinger survived the first dangerous actions of the TSV unscathed.
A situation that had actually already been clarified led to a deficit.
Avoidable goal annoys Coach Ansorge
"That was absolutely avoidable," Ansorge said angrily after a player from Großhadern had won the ball on the baseline and served Yusuf Aykac, who shot in to make it 1-0 (18').
After that, the guests were lucky that TSV top scorer Khareem Zelmat first missed (22nd) and then failed in a solo attempt at the brilliantly parrying VfL goalkeeper Manuel Seifert (26th).
Only after half an hour Denklingen caused danger for the first time.
However, Lukas Greif was unable to profitably process a cross (31st).
"I had to be louder in the dressing room," admitted Ansorge after the weak performance of his team before the break.

The booth sermon then had the desired effect.
VfL came back onto the pitch with much more momentum.
Dominik Karg missed the equalizer by a hair's breadth when he shot at the crossbar (46').
A little later he did better on a pass from Simon Ried.
"It was played really well," said Ansorge, praising the remarkable combination of his two attacking powers, which Karg refined to make it 1-1 (56').
A little later, Großhadern's goalkeeper deflected a dangerous Simon Ried volley over the bar (59').
Another interaction between Karg and Ried via a one-two gave the guests another great chance, but no goal (62').
Both teams then neutralized each other for long stretches.
Shortly before the end, Denklingen's point was once again in danger.
Out of nowhere, TSV veteran Albert Rudnik almost got the lucky punch for the home side (90+2).
But his shot went wide, so it was a draw for the still undefeated Denklinger.
