Jamal Musiala is an integral part of FC Bayern.

Lothar Matthäus even sees the future world footballer in the youngster.

Munich – Jamal here, Musiala there.

FC Bayern brought in a new superstar in Sadio Mané to replace Robert Lewandowski in the summer.

What many could not have guessed at the time: With Jamal Musiala, Bayern already have a future top star in their ranks.

The youngster shines in the midfield of the record champions and is currently following in Lewandowski's footsteps in terms of goals.

In the 2-0 win against defensive Wolfsburg, Musiala scored the important opening goal in an inimitable way and he also broke an age-old record from Uli Hoeneß.

With three goals this season, he leads the Bundesliga top scorers list.

The 19-year-old is rightly showered with praise from all sides.

Lothar Matthäus even goes one step further and sees Musiala as the future world footballer, as reported by tz.de.

Jamal Musiala: Lothar Matthäus recognizes a world footballer in the Bayern youngster

"Definitely, he brings that with him," said Matthäus on the football talk Sky90 on Sunday when asked if Musiala could someday become a world footballer.

"He's already winning against players who have achieved great things." Matthäus finds Musiala's strength of character even more impressive.

"He stays sane.

That's important if you want to be a great player - and I'm sure he will be," said the 61-year-old.

Lothar Matthäus, who scored 100 goals in 410 games for FC Bayern Munich, is the only player from Germany to be named world footballer.

In 1991, the former midfielder won the election for Inter Milan.

Most recently, Lewandowski was able to secure the title twice in a row.

So Musiala would be following in big footsteps.

FC Bayern: Matthäus raves about Musiala – Ballack is also enthusiastic

In Musiala, Matthäus does not just see a shooting star who is currently in good shape.

Rather, the record national player trusts the 19-year-old to play in the important Champions League games in the star-studded midfield of Munich from the start.

"Because of his performance and because of the system," Matthäus demanded.

With Kingsley Coman, however, a regular player will return after a red suspension in the next game.

Brilliant, I would almost say," said Matthäus recently at

Former Bayern captain Michael Ballack was also impressed by Musiala.

"He's definitely an exceptional player, a different type of player that doesn't exist in the Bundesliga.

You like to watch him," enthused the former international at DAZN.

FC Bayern: Kahn jokes about Musiala

At FC Bayern, those responsible want to build up Musiala carefully and not put too much pressure on the young star too early.

A reaction from Oliver Kahn shows that the mood is outstanding in view of the strong performance of the home-grown player.

The Bayern boss couldn't help but joke and said, not quite seriously, that he was dissatisfied with Musiala: "Told him that there had to be more".
