Very few players have scored five goals in a league game.
So how did Thomas Mäuer from SV Marzling manage this feat?

Who doesn't immediately think of Robert Lewandowski's five-pack against Wolfsburg in 2015?
On Thursday, Thomas Mäuer from SV Marzling drew level with the ex-Bayern striker, at least as far as the number of goals in a game is concerned.
The 25-year-old right-footer scored five goals against Vatanspor Freising and played a key role in his SVM's 7-3 win.

However, the likeable Bayern fan was not granted a flawless hat trick.
Because in the first half Eldin Topcagic scored the 2:2 equalizer for Vatanspor between goal one and goal two.
The half-time whistle sounded between goal three and four.
Nevertheless, Thomas Mäuer was really happy about this special evening.
"It hasn't happened to me that often either.
I don't know if I've ever done it.
Maybe sometime in my youth,” says the match winner.
The trained retail business administrator spent this time at SV Marzling.
He was registered there as a child and he always enjoyed football.
It probably runs in the family, because grandpa was an excellent goalkeeper and Papa Mäuer also wore the Marzlingen jersey.
One of Thomas' strengths is his speed, which is why he usually comes over the left flank in the three-man attack line.
So also on Thursday in the hectic game at Vatanspor Freising.
Both defenses allowed a lot and Thomas Mäuer was unpredictable that evening, scoring his goals with his head and with his left and right foot.
The series began with a header to make it 2-1 (20'), followed by a sprint duel that ended in the far corner to make it 3-2 (37').
According to the 25-year-old, the best goal was 4:2 (44th).
Tobi Duffner chipped the ball over the defence, took it with him at full speed and pocketed the ball.
At 5: 2 (47th) he dusted off after a corner.

Coach Christian Grüll was happy about the victory and the five-pack, but doesn't want to let it fly high.
"I already told Thomas after the game that if he thinks he doesn't have to score any more goals for the rest of the preliminary round just because he's scored five in one game, then he has a problem with me.
His performance in the game was good, he scored his goals, but he's welcome to keep scoring," said the coach.
That would certainly also be in the interests of Mäuer's little sister, who is his most loyal fan and watches most games.
After two days of play, Mäuer leads the list of top scorers in the district class with six goals.
Something that his teammates - who describe him as a super guy who is always in a good mood - don't begrudge him from the heart.
