Mané “understood me”: Lewandowski reveals details from a one-to-one conversation at FC Bayern

Sadio Mané and Robert Lewandowski only met in training at FC Bayern.
Now the new Barca star reveals what Mané said about his move.
Munich – That could have really banged.
Sadio Mane and Robert Lewandowski.
Both together in the storm at Bayern Munich.
Such a storm would have been unparalleled in world football.
But it shouldn't come to that.
While Mané moved from Liverpool to Munich for almost 32 million euros, Lewa was drawn to FC Barcelona.
After all: Mané and Lewandowski met in Bayern training.
Pictures from Säbener Straße show both superstars exchanging ideas one-on-one on the balcony of the training ground.
But what were they talking about?
Was Mané trying to dissuade the Pole from moving to Barca?
Lewandowski has now revealed the content of the conversation.

"We talked longer, yes.
He said he understood me," explained Lewandowski in the
Sport1
podcast "Meine Bayern Woche" .
Accordingly, Mané did not do any convincing to keep the 33-year-old in the Bayern squad.
What's more, Mané's situation was actually exactly the same as mine.
I'm only a few years older and have a family," said Lewa.
The Senegalese “understood exactly what I had in mind.
He said he thinks it's a shame.
But he understood me because he also needed a new challenge."
Lewandowski trusts Mané at Bayern, as he revealed to Bild: "I trust Mané and Gnabry to score a lot of goals." And: "You can compensate for my departure."
Great start for Sadio Mané at Bayern Munich
The new tasks for both superstars have started with varying degrees of success.
While Mané has already scored two goals in three competitive games at Bayern, Lewandowski and Barca had to settle for a 0-0 draw against Rayo Vallecano in the La Liga opener.
The ex-Bayer was on the field for 90 minutes.
