The race for the car starts here - and it won't necessarily end in first place thanks to the big stars (photo: Walla! system, Ofer Hajaiov)

The Premier League season is starting and with it the Dream League.

Most of the participants who will make up their teams will choose leading players such as Eran Zahavi, Omer Azili, Charon Sherry and Tomer Hamed, but anyone who has ever taken part in this game knows that the aces will not be the players who lead to the coveted prizes (headed by a car), but the "sleepers" - Talents waiting to break through or seasoned players who rediscovered themselves, Sean Goldberg style last year at Maccabi Haifa.

So who should we keep an eye on?

Hisham Laios (Hapoel Tel Aviv)

The 21-year-old attacking midfielder grew up in Bnei Sakhnin and signed with Hapoel Tel Aviv for three years after wandering in Ukraine and Kfar Kasem, which he almost led to the Premier League last season.

With the resurgence of Case Ganem in the Red Edge, don't be surprised if you also see Laios' name starring in the list of brewers and conquerors.

Idan Nahmias (Maccabi Tel Aviv)

The maligned stopper of Maccabi Tel Aviv saw the backs of many strikers last season, and all in all a negative professional image was created around him, but with Vladimir Ivic the story is expected to be different.

Ivić knows how to get the most out of his defensive players, and when you think of the yellow defense in the two seasons he coached, Nachmias is a serious candidate to upgrade the performance and the image.

Matan Levy (Maccabi Netanya)

Maccabi Netanya is one of the leading producers of talent in the Premier League, and it suffices to mention players such as Omri Gandelman, Gabi Kanikovsky and Aviv Avraham who have broken out in recent years.

The 20-year-old Levy returns from the loan season at Hapoel Acre and will fight for playing minutes against the team's leading stoppers Flaman Glavov and Raz Shlomo, but don't take your eyes off him, because we know Bnei Lam certainly won't.

Ofir Benvanishti (urban Kiryat Shmona)

Another defensive player (midfielder) worth checking out.

Benvanishti grew up in Hapoel Ramat Gan, moved to Umm El Fahem and landed in Kiryat Shmona in the summer after impressing the professional team.

Under Menachem Koretsky, Kiryat Shmona is expected to have a solid defense this year, and Nevanishti may win a significant share of playing minutes in it.

Shalu Harush (M.S. Ashdod)

During last season we wrote here that in MS.

Ashdod assigns to Shloh Harush the place of the shepherds of Gordana.

The midfielder was one of the main screws in the incredible championship of the club's youth team, and this year he is expected to play quite a few minutes with Ran Ben Shimon.

The Ashdod academy is known for supplying talent to the league, and the hemlock is expected to pay dividends already this season.

The youth team

El Yam Kanzpolsky, Stav Lemkin, Ily Madmon, of course Oscar Gloch and more.

Most of the players who stunned and reached the finals of the Euros in Slovakia this summer have not yet made a mark or even set foot in the One Zero League.

Which one should you go for?

I wish we knew, and actually - maybe all the fun lies in not knowing.
