About half an hour after the game ended and Maccabi Haifa went down on the grass in Carmel with a turnaround and a 2:3 victory over Red Star Belgrade in the first game of the Champions League playoffs, Red Star player Glor Kanga and Maccabi Haifa striker Mavis Chibuta sat together outside the dressing rooms for about half an hour.
Chibuta and Kanga know each other well and even talk on the phone often, and last night was a good time to catch up face to face.
The Red Star midfielder also laughed with Dolev Haziza near the dressing rooms, then turned to talk to Walla!
Sport: "We thought it would be difficult, but it was a crazy game. Maccabi Haifa is an excellent team, but despite the loss we are still the favorites to advance to the Champions League. I truly believe we will do it."
Kanga was definitely impressed by the atmosphere in Haifa, but admitted before the rematch: "The crowd here is simply amazing, but in Belgrade you will see a display of the best crowd in the world."
Will be fit for next week.

Kanga's teammate, Osman Bukari, who was one of the standouts, also commented on the atmosphere in Carmel: "The crowd in Haifa? It was great, but in Belgrade it's something else. Have you seen videos from there? Get ready for it, if you get there you'll see our crowd and you'll die."
About the fact that he asked for a substitute, the winger of the Ghana national team said "I felt something, a little pain in the muscle, so I didn't want to take a risk. I will definitely be fit for the game next week."
