Will Cristiano Ronaldo still move to the Bundesliga?
A Spanish newspaper reports an alleged contact between Borussia Dortmund and CR7.
Manchester - Throughout the summer transfer window, Cristiano Ronaldo tried in vain to leave his current club Manchester United by any means necessary.
The Portuguese superstar already knew that the season with the traditional English club would be anything but pleasant, especially since the Red Devils did not even qualify for the Champions League last season.
After two defeats at the start, the 37-year-old is apparently trying once more to force his move.
A German club is reportedly in the selection.
Cristiano Ronaldo in the Bundesliga or in Portugal?
Spanish newspaper with wild transfer rumor
During the summer, Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes tried to lure his client to a top European club, but to no avail.
The Portuguese has also offered his compatriot to FC Bayern, but the Munich management clearly decided against signing CR7.
As the Spanish sports daily
AS
writes, a Bundesliga change for the long-time Real Madrid icon is again within the realm of possibility.

As the Spaniards report, there should only be two options for a change in the current transfer period.
A return to Ronaldo's youth club Sporting Lisbon is said to be in the room, the club where Ronaldo turned professional.
The second possibility would be a transfer to Germany, the report specifically mentions Borussia Dortmund as a potential buyer.
According to the article, there should already have been contact between the player side and the black and yellow, but no explicit source is given.
Borussia Dortmund first brought in Anthony Modeste - two more options for Cristiano Ronaldo?
The transfer would only make limited sense for BVB.
Because after the shocking cancer diagnosis of the new striker Sébastien Haller, Dortmund already signed 34-year-old Anthony Modeste as a replacement for the attack.
The budget for this summer should actually be used up.
Given Ronaldo's contract term until the summer of 2023, a transfer would involve a fee.
In addition, there would be the high salary for an elderly star player, and the transfer would probably not be profitable from an economic point of view.

According to the sports broadcaster
Sky
, there should not only be two change options for Portugal's record national player.
In his old home of Madrid, he is said to have aroused the interest of his former city rivals Atlético Madrid, and Chelsea, one of the top clubs in England, is said to be still eyeing a commitment.
However, Ronaldo no longer sees himself at Manchester United.
