Work on the new West III sports center has been going on for a good two years.
A lot has happened on the construction site since this picture was taken in May 2021.
Shortly before completion, there is now a risk of a halt to construction.

The construction of the West III sports center in Fürstenfeldbruck will probably be significantly more expensive than planned.
Now the city is to help with a loan worth millions.
Fürstenfeldbruck – Originally, costs of around 4.8 million euros were estimated for the construction project.
There should be around 3.7 million euros in grants from the city, around 770,000 euros in grants from the Bavarian State Sports Association (BLSV) and the Bavarian Sports Shooting Association (BSSB).
The remaining amount should be raised by TSV West and the Fürstenfeldbruck shooting club, which will find their new home in the sports center.
But in July, the city administration's associations said that the construction costs would increase significantly.
This emerges from the documents for the meeting of the vacation committee next Tuesday, which are available to the daily newspaper.
Cost increase of up to two million euros
There is talk of additional costs of up to two million euros.
With an interest-free loan of this amount, the city should now help the clammy clubs out of trouble.
The city council's vacation committee will vote on this in a closed session.
OB Erich Raff did not want to comment on the events to the daily newspaper.
How high the additional costs actually are and how they came about in the first place still has to be clarified according to the meeting documents.
Among other things, there is talk of planning errors, the clubs not providing their own services and the general price development in the construction industry.
In the worst case, the clubs face bankruptcy
The clubs are now under enormous time pressure.
The meeting documents state that all grants, loans and the clubs' own funds have already been used up.
It is therefore not possible to pay any outstanding bills or bills that are due soon.
If a solution is not found soon, there is even a risk that the construction of the almost finished sports center will be halted and bankruptcy applications will have to be filed.
That is why the topic is already being dealt with in the holiday committee.
City council members are faced with deciding whether to put more money into the construction.
The documents indicate that the municipal loan could be converted into a grant after the work is completed.
The alternative would be to let two clubs go bankrupt and have an unfinished sports center.
Such a negative scenario would also affect the BVTA footballers.
Because they were supposed to move to the vacant site of TSV West after the completion of the new sports center.
