Wilfried Happio (48'89), Ludvy Vaillant (48'52, SB), and Victor Coroller (49'46) qualified for the final of the 400 meters hurdles.

Three French in each of the semi-finals of the 400 meters hurdles, and three French qualified.

Wilfried Happio, Ludvy Vaillant, and Victor Coroller have all qualified for the grand final of these European championships, which will take place tomorrow at 10 p.m.

Wilfried Happio all in control

4th in the worlds of Eugene, the best French hope in the 400 meter hurdles largely dominated his semi-final and offered himself the luxury of relaxing his effort in the last 50 meters.

He therefore qualified in 48'89 and remained focused on his objective: to become European champion.

Ludvy, the valiant fellow

At 27, the Frenchman used his experience to make a supersonic return to the home stretch.

He finished second in his semi-final with the best time of his season (48'52).

Only one of the favorites for the title, the Norwegian Karsten Warholm, beat him in 48'38.

Victor completes the job

Last tricolor entered, Victor Coroller took advantage of a less demanding semi-final to take second place and enter the final with a time of 49'46.
