The Israeli representatives in the Conference League are working to postpone their games in the first round of the Premier League this coming Sunday.
As you know, Hapoel Beer Sheva and Maccabi Tel Aviv are waiting for meetings with M.S.
Ashdod and Bnei Rayna respectively, which will be held in the middle of the week that separates their games in the European arena, which will determine whether the teams will advance to the group stage.
Hapoel Beer Sheva already applied to the league administration a few days ago with a request to postpone their home game against Ashdod, which is supposed to take place on Rishon at 20:00, but it was rejected.
The club is very disappointed by the decision and does not understand why the heads of the branch do not show an understanding of the meaning of the games in Europe for them, and therefore they will appeal to the manager again to request to postpone the game in order to avoid congestion between the meetings with the Romanian Craiova.
At the same time, even in Maccabi Tel Aviv, despite the statements of their coach Vladan Ivitch at the press conference yesterday, they are looking into the possibility of postponing the match against Bnei Rayna scheduled for Sunday at 20:15, this after the Yellows also responded in the negative and were told that there is no chance of moving it to another date.
The club emphasized the importance of the games against Nice and mentioned that qualifying for the group stage in the Conference League equals ranking points for all Israeli teams.

Of course, Beer Sheva and Maccabi Tel Aviv are not alone in this situation, as Maccabi Haifa is working to postpone their game against Bnei Sakhnin, which was scheduled for next Saturday, in light of the fact that the Greens have only six days between meetings with Red Star Belgrade in the playoffs for promotion to the Champions League.
Today, Sakhnin expressed a willingness to postpone the match until the end of the month, that is, between the second and third round of the league, and it appears that the match will indeed be moved.
It is likely that if the administration agrees to postpone the Maccabi Haifa game, it would be appropriate to also comply with the requests of Hapoel Beer Sheva and Maccabi Tel Aviv, although this depends on finding alternative dates.
