At FC Bayern, Sadio Mané is already a crowd favorite.
Now a Senegalese even flew to Munich from Congo to see his idol play.
Munich – He will certainly not forget this day in a hurry.
In order to see his great idol Sadio Mané play live, the Senegalese Amadou Kane flew from Kinshasa in Congo to Munich last Friday, as reported by

On Sunday he then saw the Bundesliga game FC Bayern Munich against VfL Wolfsburg in the Allianz Arena - and Mané.

Even more: “He gave his jersey to my cousin.
That was cool.” The trip must have been worth it.
Bayern won 2-0, Mané was again one of the best on the pitch.
Mané fan travels from Congo to Munich - and sets a record
In addition to meeting his favorite player, Kane also set a record in FC Bayern's fan shop.
The Mané fan revealed: "I actually bought all three different Mané jerseys, training shirts, casual clothes, socks, pants and so on.
The fan shop in the Allianz Arena told me that I held the daily record on Friday, the day I arrived in Munich."
On Monday there was a selfie with his compatriot on Säbener Straße, where the Bayern squad trains.
Sadio Mané has become a fan favorite at FC Bayern
Hardly any player is currently attracting as much attention at FC Bayern as crowd favorite Mané.
It's not surprising that the Senegalese is so well received by Bayern fans.
After the start of the Bundesliga (6-1 against Eintracht Frankfurt), Mané celebrated with the FCB Ultras on the fence, even shouting a few chants into the megaphone.
“The most beautiful thing is the energy you can feel.
It was great that the boys were celebrating with the fans.
Sadio on the fence, you can feel a very, very good energy there,” enthused his coach, Julian Nagelsmann, after the game at DAZN.
However, Mané does not see himself as a world star – despite all his successes.
"I can't do much with such terms.
It's all about being part of the team," he emphasized recently in an interview with the FC Bayern members' magazine "51".
