FC Bayern: Munich announce the commitment of Georgian talent

This Thursday (August 18), the German Bundesliga record champions announced the signing of 17-year-old Georgian Luka Parkadze.

The junior national player will move to the Isar metropolis in the summer of 2023.

According to the club, he has signed a long-term contract with Munich.

“We have known Luka for some time and have had our scouts keep an eye on him.

In addition, he made a brilliant impression in the trial session here at the FC Bayern Campus.

That's why we're very pleased to have won him over for a common path from next season and thank Dinamo Tbilisi and his supporter Guram Kachakhidze for the trusting discussions," explained campus manager Jochen Sauer in a club statement.

Parkadze plays in the central attacking midfield and is regularly used in the first team at Dinamo Tbilisi.

The attacking midfielder will continue to play for the traditional Georgian club until his move.

Parkadze has scored three goals in 19 international matches for his country's U17s.

At Bayern he is initially intended for the second team, which starts in the regional league, and probably for the U19s.

First Hyunju Lee, then Luka Parkadze: FC Bayern continues to make steam on Transfermarkt

Just a week earlier, Munich had already signed 19-year-old South Korean Hyunju Lee.

FC Bayern had already loaned the attacking midfielder from the South Korean first division club FC Pohang Steelers in January – for a year with an option to buy.

Bayern took that option early.
