This evening (Thursday), the management of the Football Association approved the amendment that states that teams that will qualify for the playoffs (only by qualifying for the group stage) - Champions League, European League, Conference League - will not play more than two games during one week, to the extent that those teams wish to do so and contact the committee league and cup.
The chairman of Bnei Sakhnin, Mahmoud Abu Younes, who announced this week that his position was over, voted against it.
The meaning of the decision is that the games can be postponed already in the next league of the Israeli teams.
Currently, Maccabi Haifa and Hapoel Beer Sheva have asked to do so.
The league management stated: "With the approval of the change in the regulations on the possibility of postponing the season for the Israeli women who compete in the playoff stage of the European leagues and in light of the request of Maccabi Haifa and Hapoel Beer Sheva, the following games are now postponed: Bnei Sakhnin - Maccabi Haifa, Hapoel Beer Sheva - MS Ashdod The league and cup committee will meet on Sunday and decide on the date of the postponed games. Maccabi Tel Aviv requested to play the league game on the original date."

The meeting opened with an explanation by the chairman of the football association Oren Hasson, who informed the participants that yesterday Maccabi Haifa approached him and Hapoel Beer Sheva also joined the request to postpone the league game which is in the middle between the two decisive games in the European establishments.
The issue was examined by Hasson in front of all the relevant parties - the league management, Toto, and broadcast franchisees, and all of them expressed a willingness to support a common interest for Israeli football.
The match placement of the three teams - Maccabi Haifa, Hapoel Beer Sheva, Maccabi Tel Aviv - will be done later by the league and cup committee.
