SV Raisting is not where it would like to be in the district league.

Coach Johannes Franz finds clear words for the situation.

Raisting - Sometimes it takes a jackhammer to wake up a team.

Johannes Franz, the coach of the district league team SV Raisting, went for it.

After the embarrassing 3-0 home defeat to Aubing, he "promoted" his men into the dressing room, as he called it.

No fan had to hear the verbal flagellation.

It was enough what happened on the pitch in the 90 minutes.

"I had to say a few sentences," says the player-coach.

This Saturday (2 p.m.) the SVR will play in Neuried, second in the table.

Did the cabin scolding bear fruit?

Franz says: "I think so."

Now to the core of his criticism.

Coach Franz urged his players to question themselves - on a sensitive issue.

"Everyone should think about whether they have done everything for the success of the team.

Not only on the day of the game, but also in preparation.

Whether you have regenerated as best as possible.

I didn't get that impression," emphasizes Franz. It's a question of attitude, that is. He doesn't talk about football things at all, it's about virtues and values that the club stands for like no other.

Because they carried him to the Bayernliga, even without the big money.

Franz would like will, struggle, determination but also a certain professionalism in the preparation. "Something has to change quickly," he clarifies.

For everything else "I don't stand - and SV Raisting doesn't".

Raisting's coach speaks of a relegation battle

The coach reacted to the false start with only two points and the current last place in the district league south with another conclusion: lein Lamento, no self-mortification.

No, Hannes Franz is radically adjusting the team's ambitions and course.

The Raistingers have thrown away their goal of the season, to get involved in the upper range, if you want to put it casually.

The player-coach says: "It's about relegation battles early in the season." And that has to be taken literally.

Fight, fight, fight he wants to see.

"Show character" is Franz's motto.

Last Tuesday he also listened to the views of his kickers and finally worked through the events of the weekend.

The contributions did not diverge greatly.

So the SV Raisting is now entering foggy and uncertain terrain.

Coach Franz knows how to get out of there, but he needs help.

He names Viktor Neveling as the management staff on the command bridge, and his assistant coach Christoph Schmitt as well. "Those who are leaders must take the lead." He also appeals to the calmer minds who have been playing in the district league for a longer time and have already mastered some unpleasant situations to have.

They should communicate his message, his football, down the ranks.

Men like David Gretschmann, Mathias Sedlmeier and Markus Riedl are meant, who should “come out of themselves more”.

Raistinger praise for the opponent TSV Neuried

On the one hand, the program of the training week was based on the team's biggest problem area: the build-up game with its accumulation of individual mistakes.

This pattern already accompanied the SVR during the preparations, which Hannes Franz also attributes to his order to be braver and try new things.

But now, in competition mode, he complains about "slow heads".

That should change.

Point two dealt with the usual targeting of the opponent.

Neuried and Raisting have switched roles.

While TSV last season only decided to remain in the district league on the last day of the game, it is now surprisingly in the top field.

"Actually out of nowhere.

They surprise the whole league,” praises SVR coach Franz. What makes Neuried dangerous and at the same time has to be switched off: the four-man offensive, about which the coach says:
