The cliff diver Iris Schmidbauer won gold at the premiere of her spectacular sport as part of a swimming championship.
The 27-year-old from Munich, eighth at the 2019 World Championships, won with 309.30 points after four jumps.
38-year-old Anna Bader, who won bronze at the 2013 World Championships, finished fourth with 281.90 points.
In the men's category, Manuel Halbisch is 13th after the second round.
The women jump from a height of 20 m, the men from 27 m. Cliff jumping has been part of the World Cup program since 2013.
It is officially known as High Diving, as it is used to jump from a steel structure and not from cliffs as in the early days.
The men's medal decision will be made on Saturday with the last two rounds.
