According to information from our colleagues from
L'Équipe
, Olympique de Marseille and Paris Saint-Germain do not currently meet certain criteria set by UEFA regarding financial fair play.
The European football body would therefore give the two Ligue 1 clubs three years to rectify their accounts at the risk of being inflicted with heavy fines.

The European Confederation's Club Financial Control Body (ICFC) sent OM and PSG this week a
"settlement agreement"
which lists the graduated sanctions.
Contacted by
L'Équipe
, the Parisian club defended itself from these multiple calls to order launched by UEFA since last June:
“Nobody else had Mediapro
.
There was a stoppage of the Championship
and Ligue 1 has much higher social charges than elsewhere”,
then reacted PSG which, according to UEFA, would have a deficit of 30 million euros over the last three accounting balances made.
On the Marseille side, no reaction has currently been communicated but OM has already been sanctioned on June 19, 2020 in several ways: fine of 3 million euros, withdrawal of 15% of its revenue in the Coupe d' Europe over the last two seasons and the limitation of its list of registered players to 23 instead of 25 for European competitions until 2023.
