But the new Barca star has now been attacked by a thief there.

The former Munich resident experienced a moment of shock in his new home.
The world-class striker, who switched from FC Bayern to Barca in the summer after a long exchange theater, was the victim of a robbery in Spain.

According to consistent Spanish media reports, a thief forcibly took a luxury wristwatch from Lewandowski.
The perpetrator apparently ripped the valuable watch off the Pole's wrist through the open car window.
The theft of the watch is said to have happened on Thursday afternoon (August 18) - right before the entrance to the Barca training ground.
This is located in Sant Joan Despí, a suburb of Barcelona.

According to
Mundo Deportivo
and other media, Lewandowski had signed autographs from his vehicle upon arrival at the club's premises before the afternoon training session.
The reports cited local police.
Meanwhile, the thief struck in his brazen deed.
The Polish national player then tried to follow the alleged perpetrator with his car.
However, Lewandowski initially lost sight of the man in the general hustle and bustle.
But the second-best Bundesliga goalscorer of all time was lucky in the end.

Theft at Barca training ground: police find perpetrators and Lewandwoski watch
Police officers found the cheeky watch thief a little later thanks to the statements of eyewitnesses.
The alleged perpetrator was discovered near the Barça compound and arrested.
In the meantime, the young man also admitted to the theft.
The expensive watch also turned up again, it had been buried in an allotment garden and was seized.

There was initially no official statement from the former FCB striker.
Whether Lewandowski can wear his watch again or whether it has been damaged by being stored below the turf remains open for the time being.
