Hapoel Jerusalem officially started the 2022/23 season this week with the opening training for its fans, and last night (Thursday) the last piece of the puzzle landed in Israel, the team's new coordinator Speedy Smith, who will join his teammates at the end of the week.
Smith said upon his landing: "I'm happy to be here.
During Corona I didn't get to experience Israel and this time I hope to see the country properly.'
Smith added: "The coach has put together a great group of players here and I believe that if everyone does their part we will reach our goals.
My goal for the season?
To be the leader of the team, that's my role as the coordinator.'
