Munich – It was not uncommon for a football record to be set in Munich in recent years.
But this time it's not the red Seitenstraßler, who are so unpopular among the lions, that make for positive sporting headlines, this time it's the sixties themselves who are able to set a record in the 3rd division.
12 years ago, Offenbacher Kickers was the first and last time a club won the first five games of the season, but with the lions they now have a hunter on their backs.
Already on the last day of the game, in the last-minute win against SC Verl, the lions set their own – 51-year-old – starting record.
TSV last managed to do this in the summer of 1971 in the Regionalliga Süd, at that time the second-highest German division.
Despite all the euphoria on Grünwalder Straße, the game against the guests from Hallesches FC has to be won first.
Although Halle is currently only 14th in the table, after the modest start to the season on the last day of the game against VfB Oldenburg, they were able to score their first points (2-0).
TSV 1860 is exposed to fan criticism from Halle
When their team won at home, the Halle fans not only had reason to celebrate, but also expressed their outrage with a lot of anger in their stomachs.
