Two and a half years after the last time, Mitch Goldhar is back in Israel.
On the occasion of the rare occasion, today (Friday) the owners of Maccabi Tel Aviv held a special press conference during which he answered questions regarding the team's summer and the plans to strengthen with additional players, with the "immediate suspects" being Eli Desa and Yonatan Cohen.
Goldhar has recently been showing an increased presence when it comes to the team, which he also visited at the pre-season training camp in Mirello.
He watched last night from the Bloomfield stands the surprising victory over Nice, and will also be present at the team's opening game in the Premier League against Bnei Rayna (Sunday, 20:15).
Goldhar has already significantly strengthened the team when he signed Eran Zahavi to a high contract and also added Nir Biton, Joris Van Overeem and this week also Dor Peretz.
The goal: to return the championship after two years.

"At the start of the season we saw fit to answer questions. I'm sure you all had a good time yesterday, I had a great time too," said Goldhar at the start of the tour, "This is my first time at the new Bloomfield, I was excited by the fans, the atmosphere, the support was amazing.
This is one of the things that inspires me to continue this journey and this project, so it's a great way to return to Israel."
