My late father, the person thanks to whom I am a Hapoel Tel Aviv fan, used to say that "expectations are only in pillows". So here we are at the beginning of the 2022/23 season, and beyond the constant excitement, I must say that there is something very heavenly about the club that is part of my life The candle is still burning, but the feeling is slowly starting to fade.
The story is very simple: Hapoel Tel Aviv cannot become a small club in Israeli football.
But, in the current incarnation of the club, under the leadership of owners who are limited in terms of financial capabilities, this is exactly the direction in which we are walking.
A club with a glorious past, without expectations in the future.
The 9,000 fans, who, even this season, without a significant purchase coming and despite a boycott, purchased a season subscription, deserve much more than a limited team without ambitions to compete for titles.
It is sad to see how a club that brought in about 2.5 million euros from the sale of players has difficulty passing inspection, and decides to reduce its budget to pay off debts.
Without opening the books, from the stands it looks like a club that lives from hand to mouth.

Hapoel has talented young people who move the audience.
There is a red skeleton that can make a top playoff once again.
But, it is not her verb we are criminalizing.
The professional gap that has opened up from the municipal rival, Mbash, and Haifa, is unbridgeable in the current reality.
Hapoel people are not afraid of a long road.
So even though we won't compete at the top, and not for the championship, we can still hope that we won't get stuck at the bottom, that we will fight for fourth place, which might lead to Europe.
In short, the derby is above all.
Red is rising.
