In the three games of the 2nd Bundesliga on Saturday, five goals had already been scored after 15 minutes, after 45 minutes it was already eleven - in the end, Holstein Kiel was the main victim, whose 2:7 (2:5) defeat against Paderborn started with a penalty against Holstein.

Paderborn thus secured first place in the table, while Regensburg missed out on the promotion places due to the 0:6 (0:3) home defeat against Karlsruher SC.

In the 1:2 (1:0) of 1. FC Nuremberg in Sandhausen, a dream goal in injury time decided the game for the Franks.

The game between Paderborn and Kiel was the top game on Saturday, as Paderborn had the best offensive in the league with eleven goals and Kiel had already scored nine goals.

Paderborn was unbeaten at home, Kiel even in the first four games.

That should change with a bang: After a corner, Robert Leipertz went to the ball with his head down and was hit in the head by Benedikt Pichler from Kiel.

Referee Florian Exner awarded a penalty, which Florent Muslija converted in the middle to make it 1-0 for Paderborn (7th minute).

Shortly thereafter, Julian Korb hit a thigh after a cross from Steven Skrzybski to equalize (9').

Some Paderborners wanted to see a handball, but the goal counted.

Shortly thereafter, Paderborn took the lead again through Julian Justvan, whose shot was deflected by Kiel defender Patrick Erras to make it 2-1 (13 ').

SCP defender Raphael Obermair then went unhindered towards the goal, accidentally played a one-two with the opponent and then scored in the near post to make it 3-1 (25th).

The next goal came just four minutes later: After Fabian Reese lost the ball in the Paderborn half, things went very quickly for the SCP.

Ron Schallenberg played to the right in front of the penalty area to Marvin Pieringer, who crossed it so that Felix Platte only had to push in (29').

At 5:1, Platte headed in at the far post after a cross from Obermair (38').

Kiel's goal to make it 2:5 came out of nowhere when, after a corner, the ball landed at the edge of the penalty area in front of Skrzybski's feet and he completed it powerfully into the far corner (45'+1').

Marvin Pieringer (52nd) increased the lead to 6:2 after a construction error in Kiel, after being substituted on Dennis Srbeny worried in the 80th minute.

With a goal spectacle at SSV Jahn Regensburg, Karlsruher SC continued its own upward trend.

The Karlsruhe team won 6-0 (3-0) and are now in the middle of the table, initially in eighth place.

Marcel Franke (7th), Paul Nebel (14th) and Jerôme Gondorf (43rd) made the preliminary decision.

Fabian Schleusener (48th, 66th) and Tim Breithaupt (78th) followed suit.

Inspired by the first win of the season last week, KSC launched attacks on the Regensburg goal almost every minute.

Franke's header after a corner strengthened the guests in their determined game forward.

Jahn keeper Dejan Stojanovic had more to do than in the first four games of the season combined.

Regensburg found no means against the no-frills moves of the guests.

The three changes that Jahn coach Mersad Selimbegovic made during the break didn't have the desired effect either.

On the contrary: Substitute Scott Kennedy carelessly gave up a ball, Schleusener gratefully accepted the invitation.

The KSC succeeded in almost everything.

1. FC Nürnberg was able to break away decisively from the lower ranks of the table.

The »Club« won 2:1 (0:1) at SV Sandhausen after a deficit and goals in the second half.

In the 33rd minute, the sand houses took the lead through Bashkim Ajdini.

He grabbed the ball in midfield, was able to dupe his opponent with a body turn and was not prevented from shooting into the corner of the goal by four FCN professionals.

Christoph Daferner (49') made it 1-1 for the Franconians, Kwadwo Duah (90' + 3') provided Nuremberg's three with a spectacular shot from the left corner of the penalty area into the far corner.

FCN is eleventh in the table with seven points, the Sandhäuser have six points after five games and are in 13th place. In the 15th second division duel there was also no draw in the duel between the two teams, and the »Club« won for the tenth time. .
