The day after Guy Harel: After nine years on the job, the CEO of the Reds will step aside and focus on businesses outside of basketball • His chosen replacement: a former Bezeq executive

A new era behind the scenes at Hapoel Jerusalem:

after a long period of searching, in the capital they found the man who will take over the position of CEO.

Yuval Levinson, formerly an economist and executive at Bezeq, will take up his position next month, but unlike his predecessor in the position, he will not be involved in the professional side but in the day-to-day management of the club.

As published in "Israel Hayom", the capital recently searched for a replacement for Harel, who has held his current position at the club since Uri Alon arrived in the capital and took over ownership, and they wanted to appoint a person to the position who would come from outside the system, with a background in the worlds of marketing and management, in which the owner of the Reds, Eyal Chomsky, deals and specializes .

Following the move, after nine years in his role as the all-powerful CEO of Hapoel Jerusalem, Guy Harel will vacate his place and turn to private businesses, outside of sports.

Also, another change in the Jerusalem management avenue took place in the position of group manager, which until recently was held by David Basan.

After Bassan's departure, Alex Kalman, who has worked in the group for the past year in various positions, took over.
