After a historic season in which it won the national championship for the second time in its history and reached the semi-finals of the FIBA Champions League, Hapoel Holon enters the upcoming season with high expectations, and a desire to repeat the achievement.
Ahead of the team's official training session, forward Chris Johnson landed this evening (Saturday).
The American returned for another season in Israel, and received a warm welcome from dozens of fans in the field.
Johnson said: "The reception was warm and it's a lot of fun for me. What is the goal for the season? Very simple - to win the championship again. There are some differences between the team of the previous season and the new season, but we will work on the chemistry and it will work out."
The forward added: "I'll miss Guy Penino and Rafi Manko a little, but I'm sure the new members will do a great job in their place. We're coming to run the show again and win the title."
