The triple jumper Hana Kneizeva-Minenko celebrated last night (Friday) the bronze medal at the European Championships in Munich, Germany, which is her second career medal in this competition, after she won the silver in 2016.
The 32-year-old Minenko did so after clocking 14.45 on her third attempt, just 2 centimeters short of her year's result, which was enough for her to make the podium.

"I feel super happy," said Minenko at the end.
"Especially raising the Israeli flag here in Munich, 50 years after what happened at the Olympics, is very symbolic. I think it is very important for the people of Israel as well. I want to thank everyone for their support."
"I felt the support from everyone and thanks to that I am now with the flag, thank you very much to everyone. For me the medal gives me more confidence, I think I made good jumps, even though there were some disqualifications we are on the right track. I am very grateful to my coach Rogel Nahum."
"This is the first time I take a medal with Rogel. He gives me a lot of motivation and we worked hard, but it's clear that with the Paris Olympics we need to work even harder to reach the top in the Olympics."
The former triple jumper and coach of Minenko, Rogel Nahum added: "I am very happy about Hana's medal, the bronze medal at the European Championships. We knew it was possible and in our hands. 50 years after what happened here, to win a medal at the Olympic Stadium in Munich, there is nothing better than that. Thanks to Hannah, and thanks to everyone who was here and cheered."
