Rummenigge doesn't trust FC Bayern to win the CL title: "Too early"

Karl-Heinz Rummenigge praises FC Bayern's transfers.

That's why he doesn't immediately trust his ex-club to win the Champions League title.

Munich – FC Bayern invested heavily in the transfer market this summer.

With Sadio Mané and Matthijs de Ligt, two superstars came to Säbener Straße for a lot of money.

"I think it's too early.

If you were to go by that, Manchester City, Paris Saint Germain or Chelsea, who have been incredibly active on the transfer market in recent years, should actually win every year.

I think everything has to fit,” explained Rummenigge when asked whether the Bayern squad was enough for the Champions League title (all winners at a glance).

In the previous season, the 2020 winner had already failed in the quarterfinals to outsiders Villarreal.

"And it's important, and that was always a cornerstone and also the basis, that it works in the dressing room, that the players are green, that the players are harmonious, loyal, friendly.
