The start of the NBA is still far away (two months away), but the American media continue to prepare for the new season in the best league in the world.
On the website covering the Washington Wizards, an article was published that focused on Danny Avdia and tried to find ways for the Israeli forward to "finally meet expectations".
According to the scriptures, this will be the year Avdia will have to justify being a first round draft pick.
The article referred to the work Avdia did this summer with personal trainer Drew Hanlan, who worked, among other things, with players such as the Israeli's teammate Bradley Beal, Zach Lavin, Joel Embiid and Jayson Tatum.
"Henlan is famous for helping young players make a dramatic leap when it comes to shooting. The hope is that this will take Danny to new heights."

In the article, three areas of Avdia's game were brought up that demand immediate improvement.
The first is a higher level extension in the color area.
"Danny must do a better job when it comes to shooting from open looks and finishing close to the basket. In the last season, his percentages from a distance of about a meter from the basket dropped to 63.3 percent, compared to 73.3 from the same range in his rookie season."
It is also written that "this summer will be critical for him in terms of honing his finish, as he cannot rely on athletic abilities alone."
The second aspect according to the scripture that Avdia needs to improve is shooting from three.
"Danny has struggled with shooting from three since he came to the league. His percentages could easily increase from 33 percent to 35-36 percent with the right shooting coach. Last summer it looked like he took the right steps towards improving his shooting."
And to sign the third - to be more aggressive and show more confidence.
"The Wizards would be happy to see Avdia play with the same level of self-confidence as he demonstrated in Israel. In quite a few cases it seems as if he doesn't trust himself enough."
In the article, the forward was urged to be more "selfish": "There is a 'dog' hiding in all the big scenes in the league. Danny has it in defense - now he has to show it in attack as well."
