TSV Dorfen welcomes the relegated team from the state league, SB DJK Rosenheim, at 2:30 p.m. this Saturday.
Dorfen – The visitors may have had a modest start to the new season and are still without a win after three matches, but they shouldn't be underestimated.
This is also the opinion of the sports director of the Isenstadt team, who sees a big unknown in Saturday's opponent.
"The Rosenheimers actually have a whole new team," emphasizes Markus Wetzel.
“After relegation they had about 16 departures and 14 arrivals.
So you've made a big change in the team." In any case, he knows that many of his own youth players have been accepted, "and the sports association has always had good youth training." So he can only say little about the playing strength of the Rosenheimers.
Only so much: "They certainly don't go to Dorfen to lose."
The atmosphere in coach Christoph Deissenböck's team is very good.
No wonder after the last two games with victories in Saaldorf and this week in the Toto Cup in Altenerding.
“We trained well this week and want to keep the points at home in the folk festival that was brought forward from Sunday to Saturday.
After all, there should also be a proper celebration at the Wiesn afterwards,” says Wetzel quite optimistically.
But he warns again and again: "They have a lot of youth players in the team who have also been well trained.
They will demand everything from us.”
But of course the Dorfeners also want to keep the three points in order to stay close to the top group of the table.
The wide squad is paying off for the locals this season.
Daniel Roppert is out with a torn ankle ligament.
Michael Friemer, who was ill during the week, will be fine, says Wetzel.
Marco Zöller is likely to be out with pubic inflammation, and substitute keeper Bernie Schöberl is on vacation.
Captain and defensive support Andi Hartl is back after surviving an ear infection.
