The hottest trend in celebrating big sporting moves, it seems, is faking injuries.

This is exactly what American soccer player Lou Labonte did today (Friday), when she scored a penalty, limped as if suffering from a hamstring injury - and immediately started a tumultuous twerking dance.

"Actresses usually just celebrate with each other and I love it, but I wanted it to be a little more fun, with a personal celebration," she explained at the end.



Labonte, for whom it was the fifth goal of the season, added that the inspiration was taken from her compatriot, United States national team player Anthony Robinson, who scored about six months ago against El Salvador, and after several impressive leaps, he also added a limp:
