After five matchdays in league two, both Bundesliga teams are still without a win. Hansa Rostock is different: Thanks to a dream goal by John Verhoek, the Kogge jumped into the top third of the table.

Even the best first half of the season did not bring Greuther Fürth their first win of the season in the 2nd Bundesliga.

The relegated defeated 1. FC Kaiserslautern at home 1:3 (1:0).

Arminia Bielefeld, like Fürth in the Bundesliga last season, is still waiting for their first win after the fifth matchday.

In the first game after the release of coach Uli Forte, it was enough at 1. FC Heidenheim to draw 1-1 (1-1).

Hansa Rostock celebrated a 2-0 (2-0) home win against northern rivals FC St. Pauli.

The goals in Heidenheim had already been scored after ten minutes: Tim Kleindienst first gave Heidenheim the lead following a free kick (3rd minute), then Bielefeld's Robin Hack countered with a long-range shot that was well worth seeing (10th).

The game then lost pace around both penalty areas.

Heidenheim seemed closer to victory in the end, Kevin Sessa failed with two good chances at the outside of the post (57th/58th), Arminias Frederik Jäkel had to leave the field with yellow-red (75th).

The Bielefeld team, for whom Daniel Scherning, who was hired from Osnabrück, was on the coaching bench after the end of their collaboration with Uli Forte, were once again able to hope for victory.

Before the supposed 2:1 by Janni Serras, the ball had already completely crossed the baseline at Masaya Okugawa's cross.

Despite winning the first point, Bielefeld remains bottom of the table, Heidenheim is in third place.

The games between Hansa Rostock and FC St. Pauli are traditionally high-security games, both fan camps have a long rivalry.

Before kick-off, however, it was not irregularities in the stands that caused a delay, but one on the field: the teams were only allowed to start after a hole in the goal net had been patched.

The Rostockers did that impressively: after just four minutes, Kai Pröger surpassed his opponent Jakov Medić and gave Hansa the lead.

After that, the hosts kept up the pressure, created chances – and spectacularly extended their lead.

Ex-St. Pauli striker John Verhoek dropped the ball into the away goal with an overhead kick and decided the game early (17').

With the win, Hansa jumps to sixth place and passes the Kiezklub in the second division table, which is now eleventh.

Greuther Fürth could have decided the home game against Kaiserslautern before the half-time break.

But out of about half a dozen good to very good chances, only Tobias Raschl's shot from close range found its way into the goal (13'), Simon Asta came closest to making it 2-0 when he shot the post (33').

After the break, FCK punished Fürth's unused usury: Philipp Hercher scored the equalizer less than a minute after the restart (46'), Mike Wunderlich turned the game around completely (54').

The Lauterer defense now celebrated for blocked shots as well as for goals, for example when Fürth's attacker Ragnar Ache (72nd) had a better opportunity.

Instead of an equaliser, Kenny Prince Redondo made it 3-1 (79').

After returning to the second division, Kaiserslautern is fourth in the table, while Fürth is 15th after three draws and two defeats.
