Another huge achievement in Artyom Dolgupyat's rich career.
The Olympic champion from Tokyo in the floor exercise today (Sunday) won the gold medal at the European Championships in the same exercise with an impressive score of 14.966.
Among eight participants in the European Championship finals, Dolgopiat climbed to the seventh mat and provided a performance that earned him a score of 8.866 for an exercise with a difficulty level of 6.100.
This exercise was enough for him to pass the Hungarian Christopher Mesaros, who won the silver medal with a score of 14.600.
Great Britain's Jake German, who took to the mat after Dolgopiat and sealed the competition, won the bronze medal with a score of 14.433.

This is Dolgopiat's fourth floor exercise medal at the European Championships (second gold after winning in 2020) and seventh overall in this exercise if you include the Olympic Games and the World Championships.
The 25-year-old gymnast also has a silver medal in the European Championships in the vaulting exercise.
