Today's crazy news.
Mauritania's youth soccer team announced its withdrawal from the U15 African Championship tournament, for a reason you don't hear a day, and certainly don't see.
In an official announcement by the country's football association, it was stated that it withdraws its participation in the championship considering "the danger of injuries that the players may be exposed to" and for the "health and safety of the players".
The reason?
The suspicious age of Sierra Leone players.
The national team from Mauritania was defeated a few days ago against the opponent 6:0, in the game from the very beginning it was possible to clearly notice that there are very significant physical differences between the players of the two teams.
In the photos distributed on the networks from that game, the height differences are very large, so it is difficult to blame the Mauritanians.
Mauritania have withdrawn from the WAFU B U15s after their game with Sierra Leone which they lost 6-0 citing fear of injury to their players because of the physical difference between them and other teams at the tournament.
They also questioned the ages of the SL team.

As mentioned, the same differences caused the decision of the retiring team, which demanded clarification regarding the real age of the Sierra Leone players.
There is no doubt that even if it turns out that indeed all of them do not pass the age of 15, the differences exist, hugely.
