The Syrian women's football team defeated its UAE counterpart 1-0 in its third friendly match at the end of the training camp in the United Arab Emirates in preparation for the West Asian Championship scheduled in Jordan at the end of this month.
Our team had defeated its UAE counterpart by four goals to one in its first friendly in this camp, and lost to it in the second match, with a score of two goals to nothing.
Our team had recently conducted a training camp in Lebanon as part of its preparations for the upcoming tournament, during which it played two friendly matches with its Lebanese counterpart, with the first tied with a goal for the same and the second lost by two goals to one.
Our team will open its matches in the West Asian Championship on the twenty-ninth of this month by meeting the Jordanian team, to play with the Palestine team on the first of next month and with the Lebanon team on the fourth of next month.
