Ridden by Baptiste Dubourg, Donne le Change proved to be the strongest and won this race for the second consecutive year.

Arrival of the fifth:

1 - 2 - 6 - 12 - 10

Head to the Clairefontaine racecourse (Calvados), for the quinté of the day reserved for jumpers.

This Grand Steeple-Chase of the City of Deauville, labeled as a listed-race, pitted fourteen competitors aged 5 to 11 on the 4,500m course.

A race that once again smiled on

Donne le Change

(No. 1), who retains his invincibility on this track in three outings.

Quickly at the forefront, he galloped freely all the way.

He then found himself in the wake of

King Elvis

(n° 2), who took a two-length lead over the final hurdle.

The 9-year-old gelding then showed himself to be very courageous in seeking out the representative of Arnaud Chaillé-Chaillé.

He thus registered his name for the second time on the list of winners of this event despite his three kilos more compared to last year.

The son of

Saddler Maker

offers for the occasion a second victory in a quinté to his jockey Baptiste Dubourg and his father Christophe Dubourg.

“He likes to go in front, underlines the trainer.

He is a super jumper who always responds.

I will never have such a horse again.

He jumps wonderfully.

He is truly a warrior, as the lot was of higher quality this year.

Trailing by a neckline for success,

King Elvis

(No. 2) performed remarkably well.

After quickly taking the train on his own, he accelerated perfectly and was pugnacious until the end, but could not do anything against the excellent finish of the winner.

He was associated with James Reveley, replacing Adrien Fouchet.

Arrived third,

Anzorie

(n°6) waited and then drew a convincing end of the race on the outside.

Raffles Classic

(No. 12) is off to a good start at this level of competition.

Located close to the leading group, he completed a good straight line to take fourth place.

Rovanthus

(n° 10) caused a surprise at odds of 44/1 and completed the finish.

As for the favorite

Elvis de Balme

(n° 8), he was never in the race and was stopped in the opposite line.
