The final almost took place in Munich.
Because the Allianz Arena was planned as the venue for 2022 on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the "Finale Dahoam".
Because of the corona pandemic in 2020 and 2021, the venues were postponed, so that Istanbul finally gets its CL final, Munich has to wait another two years – the final in the premier class will not take place in FC Bayern’s living room until 2025.
Speaking of FC Bayern.
With the lines shown so far and the transfers made, they are one of the co-favorites.
With Sadio Mané and Matthijs de Ligt, the squad has been strengthened again despite the departure of world footballer Robert Lewandowski.
