On August 20, 1922, the fairer sex entered the Olympics.

And it all started with the fight of a woman, Alice Milliat.

"The incarnation of the fight for women's sport", says her biographer, Stéphane Gachet.

100 years ago almost to the day, Nantes set up the first Women's Olympic Games, after creating the first women's football team in France, and chairing the Federation of Women's Sports Societies of France.
