The draw for the Champions League group stage is coming up.
We accompany the ceremony on Thursday evening here in the live ticker.
Nyon - Finally it sounds again, the anthem of the Champions League!
The wait will be over on August 25th, as this Thursday the groups for the upcoming season will be drawn.
This much is already clear: From a German point of view, it will be a real festival.
With FC Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen, RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt, five Bundesliga clubs are represented.
Champions League: Draw live today - German teams in the first three pots
The German record champions, whose end was widely analyzed by UEFA last year, can look forward to the balls with relative excitement, after all they are in the draw and thus avoid the biggest chunks.
Nevertheless, there can be hammer opponents - for example, a preliminary round with FC Barcelona, Inter Milan and Benfica Lisbon is possible.
Eintracht Frankfurt is also one of the winners of the Europa League.
RB Leipzig is in pot two, BVB and Leverkusen in pot three.

CL draw live today: Champions League group stage starts on September 6th
The draw begins on Thursday, August 25 at 6 p.m.
Pedro Pinto and Reshmin Chowdhury will lead the ceremony, with Hamit Altintop and Yaya Touré acting as lottery fairies.
