Summary: Maccabi Tel Aviv - Nice 0:1 (Sport1)
A week after Maccabi Tel Aviv surprised Nice at home when they won 0:1 with a Stipa Fritza goal, tonight the rematch will be held in France (9:00 p.m., Sport1).
The Yellows are aware that they have only a minimal advantage, but the feeling is optimistic and among the players and the professional staff there is a belief that they can qualify for the group stages of the Conference League for the second year in a row.
A victory in tonight's game will also give the yellows important ranking points in the UEFA group rankings and will also lead to a cash grant for qualifying for the group stage in the amount of 3.14 million euros, an amount that will be added to the one million euros that the team has already secured for itself so far.
I prefer Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Coach Vladan Ivić will bring back most of the players who were rested in the first league match, including Eran Zahavi, Nir Biton, Gabi Kanikowski and Joris van Overeem, but will make two changes compared to the lineup he started in Bloomfield in the first match against the French, with Ofir Davidzadeh and Dan Glazer expected to start instead of Matan Hozaz and Eyal Gulsa
Another player who should get significant playing minutes tonight, either in the lineup or as a substitute, is the Croatian Stipe Frica who scored the winning goal in the first game.
Fritza, who is in very good scoring form, also scored a brace against Maccabi Bnei Reina in the league on Sunday.
Wow!
Sport learned that about a week ago, Peritza rejected an offer his agent received from Sochi, Russia, which is currently ranked seventh in its league.
The Croatian received an offer for a contract with a salary estimated at 700 thousand euros per season, but preferred to stay in the yellow uniform.
Fritza ends his contract at the end of the current season, but in the last interview he gave after the game against Bnei Rayna, he talked about his satisfaction with staying at Maccabi Tel Aviv and even hinted between the lines that he would be happy to receive an offer to upgrade and extend his contract.
