There was something going on in the district league duel between Peißenberg and Pöcking.

Five goals came from corners alone.

But there was no winner at the final whistle.

Peißenberg – For the first time this season, a district league game involving TSV Peißenberg went without a winner.

In the second home game of the season, player-coach Michael Stossberger's team drew 3:3 (2:2) against SC Pöcking-Possenhofen.

"It's a shame, that would have been big points against a direct competitor," Stossberger mourned for a possible victory against the relegated district league.

On the other hand: "We could have lost too," Stossberger admitted after his team got involved in an open exchange of blows with the team from Lake Starnberg - which the coach didn't like much.

"Sometimes that was a bit hara-kiri," he judged the careless turnovers in midfield, which repeatedly conjured up dangerous situations in front of his own goal.

That was sometimes a bit of hara-kiri.

Michael Stossberger, coach of TSV Peißenberg.

Taken together, both teams scored once from the game.

Five hits came from corners.

"Sets were poorly defended on both sides," said Stossberger.

The weakened guests used a corner for an early lead, which the reactivated Stefan Wache scored with a shot from the background (8th).

Once the hosts got over that shock, they pushed for an equalizer.

After Hannes Kunterweit's header, the ball landed in the goal (21st).

Because he pressed the guest keeper too much, the goal was not recognized.

Afterstossberger had headed past another corner, substitute six Valentin Hörndl sunk the following pass from the corner flag with a concealed shot to make it 1-1 (26 ').

The equalizer gave TSV a boost.

A little later, the hosts launched a quick attack.

Ramon Messner failed in the first attempt, but in the margin he made it 2-1 (29th).

The Peissenbergers didn't bring the lead into the dressing room.

TSV keeper Adrian Erhart fended off Emanuel Endl's long-range shot in added time.

The subsequent corner landed at Simon Forster, whose shot deflected by Stossberger to make it 2:2.

At the beginning of the second half, both teams were a bit more cautious.

After an hour, however, they increased the number of strokes again.

Two headers from Stossberger (60') and Eleftherios Caci (61') were repelled by the young Pöcking goalkeeper Marius Klitscher with brilliant saves.

On the other side, Clemens Link was just stopped in front of the TSV box (69th).

Markus Schulz headed the following corner into the net to make it 3:2 (70').

Hubert Jungmann then missed a 100% chance to equalize (79').

Caci did better, who headed in after another corner to make it 3:3 (81st).

Both teams wanted more after that.

Even after the time penalty against Philipp Solleder (88th), the home side continued to go on the offensive.

Kunterweit (90+5) had the last chance for TSV, but it didn't bring anything.
