Summary: Liverpool - Bournemouth 0:9 (Sport1)
Liverpool equaled today (Saturday) the biggest victory in the history of the Premier League, when they defeated Bournemouth 0:9 at Anfield.
After two draws in the knockout rounds followed by a loss to Manchester United, Liverpool took out all their frustrations on the newcomer today.
Manchester United won twice this time in the past (over Ipswich in 1995 and Southampton last year) and Leicester also beat Southampton 0:9 in 2019.
"It's a strange result that probably won't repeat itself many times," Jurgen Klopp admitted.
"It feels like an important result. It's not like we've worked any less hard in the previous weeks, but when it comes together like today it's fantastic. Everyone should celebrate today. We had to prove something to ourselves. We've had some good moments so far, but we weren't happy with how we've played so far this season. We just have to adjust the game, and that's what we did today, and that's what I liked."
"Today we started well, we took advantage of our opportunities, and that's what we had to do on Monday as well," said Trent Alexander Arnold, "we wanted to go crazy, and we took advantage of the atmosphere here. We attacked them from the first moment, it was an outstanding game from us, a great display We didn't have the start of the season we were hoping for, we had to win and we got it in a special way."

Harvey Elliott, who scored his first Premier League goal, added: "It's a great relief for us and our fans to deliver a performance like this after so many people doubted us. We're in the clouds."
Former player and BBC commentator Pat Nevin was delighted and said: "It could have been 0-12, 0-13, 0-14, and I'm not exaggerating. Everything went perfectly for Liverpool. Sometimes we take it all for granted."
The losing and shocked coach Scott Parker concluded: "We're quite shocked, it's a hard and painful day, at certain moments the level differences were just too big. I'm sorry for the players and for the fans, we're not going to sleep tonight."
