At some point the puff runs out: Promoted SV Münsing is defeated by SV Ohlstadt with 1:3

Münsing – Once again, the climber has to learn the hard way.

With the robust Ohlstadt gait, the team of coach Ralf Zahn was overwhelmed and in the end served well with the 1:3 (1:1).

Air and concentration run out

Things got off to a good start for the hosts.

23 minutes were played when Hans Zachenbacher was able to shake off his opponent from Ohlstadt on the right flank and marked the 1:0 at full speed.

That didn't seem really liberating, however, because the guests continued to switch undeterred to forward gear, but failed again and again due to some Münsinger leg that was or was in the way of the ball in the penalty area.

A goal was literally in the air, but when it fell, SV trainer Ralf Zahn classified it as "impossible": A Münsinger free kick was harmlessly kicked on goal, a long throw by goalkeeper Jonas Fuhrmann led to the middle line a foul on a Ohlstadt player.

The wide free kick diagonally over half the field landed at Franz Christoph Leis,

who headed into the far corner against the direction of the keeper - 1:1 a minute before the break.

"That was a blow for us," said Ralf Zahn, who came back from the dressing room with the impression that "it won't work this time".

Maximum demanded in every duel

The second half continued as the first had ended.

Ohlstadt combined pleasantly to the front and fended off Münsinger's attempts to attack with rigorous effort.

"Physically, it's hardcore," Zahn said appreciatively.

“For my boys, this is high-performance sport.

They are challenged to the maximum in every duel, at some point you run out of breath.”

A ridiculous concede

And the concentration probably too, like the goal to make it 1:2 outnumbered because Josef Holzer had been given a ten-minute time penalty for a foul game.

A corner ball rolled flat into the Münsinger six-yard box, where Jonas Thümmler, surrounded by yellow jerseys, nudged the ball into the goal with his toes.

"A goal like that is ridiculous," Zahn complained.

When promoted Münsing mobilized the last of his strength and threw everything forward, substitute Florian Augscheller made it 3-1 for Ohlstadt.

"It's okay to win," says Zahn.

"Ohlstadt was the more active team - and physically extremely strong." RUDI STALLEIN
