In recent years, the number of burglaries among football professionals in Spain has increased.
But thefts are not unusual in other countries either. The two ex-Bayern players Luca Toni and Douglas Costa were victims of burglars in Italy, and former FCB defender Rafinha had a similarly traumatic experience in Greece.
