The fifth Bundesliga matchday is coming up - and with it the next Kickbase weekend.

In an interview with IPPEN.MEDIA, Janni gives a few purchase recommendations.

Munich – The fourth day of the Bundesliga match held a few surprises.

For example, FC Bayern did not get beyond a draw against Gladbach, Leverkusen scored for the first time and Leipzig are back on track after beating Wolfsburg.

Union Berlin is surprisingly second in the table after a furious 6-1 win over Schalke, and Europa-Ĺeague winners Frankfurt got their first three with a 4-3 win in Bremen.

For kickbase managers, the past game day was difficult to calculate.

That's why Janni from Kickbase is again giving the best tips for the coming matchday.

In the Monday interview with

IPPEN.MEDIA

, he recommends one or the other player who might still be flying under the radar.

Kickbase recommendations: Jannis bargain for the 5th matchday - Philipp

Maximilian Philipp from Wolfsburg has recorded a big plus so far.

After coming on as a substitute against Schalke on matchday three, he has already shown himself to be an asset and didn't make the worst impression against Leipzig last weekend.

Wolfsburg are next up against 1. FC Köln in the home game, and Philipp is likely to be back in the starting XI, not least because coach Niko Kovac is likely to reward his recent performances.

In contrast to the previous matchday, the 28-year-old is currently the biggest gainer in market value (22.1 percent).

Maximilian Philipp, VfL Wolfsburg, opponent: Cologne (H).

Market value: €2,709,460 (as of August 29)

Kickbase Recommendations: Jannis Bargain for Matchday 5 - Ejuke

Chidera Ejuke only switched to Hertha BSC on loan in the summer, since then the Nigerian has played in all Bundesliga games and was in the starting XI for the last three games.

According to Janni from Kickbase, the left winger did a lot of things right last weekend, even though the Berliners lost to BVB at home.

"He managed to score 49 points with nine successful dribbles," said Janni, adding that this value is a record this season.

Hertha is visiting Augsburg at the weekend, where Ejuke could often dribble again.

Chidera Ejuke, Hertha BSC, opponent: Augsburg (A).

Market value: €5,845,901 (as of August 29)

Kickbase Recommendations: Jannis Bargain for Day 5 - Tigges

After the departure of Anthony Modeste, 1. FC Köln are still looking for strikers, both externally and within their own ranks.

The attackers Florian Dietz and youngster Tim Lemperle remained largely pale and apparently nothing is expected from the sorted out Sebastian Andersson in the cathedral city.

That's why Steffen Tigges' hour could now come.

"Actually, something has to happen at the top, there has to be a big one in the middle," Janni also knows.

The 1.93 meter tall Tigges could certainly handle the crosses from Jonas Hector and Benno Schmitz on the coming matchday.

Steffen Tigges, 1. FC Cologne, opponent: Wolfsburg (A).

Market value: €4,975,209 (as of August 29)

Kickbase Recommendations: Jannis Bargain for Matchday 5 - Kossounou

Things haven't looked good at Bayer Leverkusen in the past few weeks.

After dropping out of the cup, three Bundesliga defeats followed, but Bayer 04 won 3-0 in Mainz at the weekend.

All was not well in the breakaway, however, with two defenders, Piero Hincapié and Mitchel Bakker, being sent off.

This should clear the way for Odilon Kossounou.

The 21-year-old Ivorian has only been substituted on twice so far.

Odilon Kossounou, Bayer Leverkusen, opponent: Freiburg (H).

Market value €4,673,411 (as of August 29)

Kickbase Recommendations: Jannis Bargain for Matchday 5 - Sané

FC Bayern star Leroy Sané's performance curve fluctuated last season, but the national player is showing his full potential this season.

In the 1-1 draw against Gladbach, he was one of the best players in the record champions, scoring 82 points with eight shots on goal.

Behind his teammates Joshua Kimmich and Benjamin Pavard, the 26-year-old is in third place among the players with the most points of the young season (746).

Bayern have a difficult away game at second-placed Union Berlin on Saturday, with Sané likely to start based on his recent performances and goals.

Leroy Sané, FC Bayern Munich, opponent: Union Berlin (A).

Market value: €37,799,708 (as of August 29)

Kickbase recommendations: Jannis bargain for the 5th matchday - Greiml

Newly promoted FC Schalke 04 have only picked up two points in their first four games of the season.

The Royal Blues are going to Stuttgart at the weekend, where the first win of the season should be bagged.

Malick Thiaw will probably not help, the German U21 international is about to move to AC Milan.

That's why the Austrian Leo Greiml could move to the central defender position, but the U21 international is still waiting for his Bundesliga debut.

Leo Greiml, FC Schalke 04, opponent: VfB Stuttgart (A).

Market value: €3,547,997 (as of August 29)

Kickbase recommendations: Jannis tips for the 5th matchday - other interesting players

In addition to the buy recommendations, Kickbase-Janni also has other players in mind.

Wolfsburg left-back Paulo Otávio hasn't scored well yet, but the Brazilian is a good option for next weekend (market value: €6,858,354).

The market value of his teammate Jakub Kaminski is still "too cheap" at €4,370,300, says Janni.

At Hertha BSC, the expert sees Marc-Oliver Kempf (market value: €9,949,606) as a solid defender who scored 119 points with clearance actions against BVB at the weekend alone.

In addition to the Leverkusen Exequiel Palacios (market value: €8,109,809), who recently played well in Mainz and recorded an assist, is another insider tip for the coming weekend.

In addition, the two Frankfurt Daichi Kamada (market value: €15,779,464) and Luca Pellegrini (market value: €11,641,761) are in demand.

While Kamada shone with two assists, Pellegrini carried out the standards at Eintracht, which according to Janni is "very relevant to kickbase in terms of the style of play".

And the expert should know, given his tips from last weekend.
