Unrest at FC Moosinning.

The district league is still badly behind on goals at the moment - and now there is a tremor in the board.

Moosinning – Vice-chairman Rupert Lanzinger surprisingly gave up and openly criticized the coaching team Christoph and Georg Ball after the disappointing performance of the district league team. FCM chairman Karl Thumbs, however, wants to stick with the Ball brothers.

This news hit like a bomb: Rupert Lanzinger, longtime sporting director and vice-chairman of FC Moosinning, has announced his immediate resignation.

On the one hand it is professional, on the other hand the current situation of the first team.

Last season she played for promotion to the national league and is currently on the relegation place.

Lanzinger speaks of a "disappointing development" and does not shy away from criticism.

In the previous three district derbies, the FCM managed a happy 2:2 against Finsing, against Langengeisling (0:1) and Dorfen (0:4) there were defeats, and Lanzinger says very clearly: "I would not have kept the coaches busy .

For me, there was already a shift in the shaft after Langgeisling.”

Lanzinger runs a country hotel in Hallnberg with his family.

"It's getting harder and harder to find employees.

As a result, I'm becoming increasingly indispensable in my company and I'm less and less to be found on the football pitch," he says.

Perhaps this was also the reason why the Management Board let the reins of action be taken out of their hands.

In the past, coaches would recommend players.

"But we had the decision on the side of the club whether to sign these players, or we said to players who had already played for us after the season, it doesn't make sense for us to continue."

That was different this season, and Lanzinger adds a concrete example: goalkeeper Dominic Dachs.

"At the insistence of the coaches, we decided to sign the player Dachs," emphasizes the outgoing club vice president.

“I thought we would stick with Philipp Strunk.

On the one hand he is a Moosinninger, on the other hand he is a young player who has developed well and could stay with us for a long time farewell to Hallbergmoos".

He had had conversations with Badger in the past: "That should have been warning enough for me."

What Lanzinger also bothers: "The fitness of some players is worthy of a C-class player.

We all know that we have good footballers in the team, but if I just keep running after the 60th minute – and I’m still kind – I don’t have to be surprised that we don’t score the goals.”

The coaches put the team together, but he didn't want to blame them for the current failure.

"One works at the folk festival, then a few go on vacation - the sum makes the difference," Lanzinger scolds.

When asked about the second team, which is currently leading the district league as a promoted team after four wins from four games and consists almost entirely of homegrown talent, Lanzinger says “There is great cohesion and a great team spirit.” But he also limits: “It works only up to a certain league, if you want to go higher you need other structures.”

"Rup is definitely right on individual points," says FCM chairman Karl Thumbs.

"But it's not fair to blame it all on the coach - the team has to take a good look at it.

It can't be that we sack the coach every two years." He recalls the game in Freilassing, "when shortly before the end when the score was 1:1, Florian Jakob's header went to the inside post and Freilassing in return the 2: 1 power".

For 45 minutes you played the opponent against the wall.

"If we had won, we would have eight points, we would be in midfield and nobody would be upset."

He doesn't see the 0:4 against Dorfen as tragic at the moment, "because Dorfen is a top team.

When Thalmaier and Zander march off, my dear man.

These are very savvy dogs.

Others have already caught seven against Dorfen.” In addition, important players were missing, some started the game injured.

He knows that the team and coach talk to each other a lot.

"In general, the relationship is right," believes Thumbs, who also understands Lanzinger's reaction.

"He's very, very busy professionally and it annoys him that he can't be as present anymore," knows the FCM chairman, who doesn't believe that there is a return for a previous runner-up.

"When the Rup makes a decision, he goes through with it."

But how should things continue at FC Moosinning?

“We have to go through this together, my young board colleagues and I,” says Thumbs.

"We'll sit down and discuss things as soon as possible." It's important "that we win a few games now, because we're not as bad as we are now."

And the FCM boss once again expressly emphasizes: "The coaches are not available." Coach Christoph Ball was not available for comment.
