Syria's junior football team bid farewell to the Arab Cup U-17 Championship held in Algeria, losing today against its Egyptian counterpart, with a score of five goals without a response, in the third and final round of the group stage.
Our team lost to Saudi Arabia by four goals to three in its second match in the group stage of the tournament which it opened with a negative draw with Lebanon.
It is noteworthy that our team achieved the runner-up for the first edition in 2011, which was won by the Saudi team, while the second edition was won by the Tunisian team and the third edition by the Iraqi team.
