"They learned nothing from the bullying of the Osaka speeches": Emma Radukno under fire Israel today

At the United States Open Championship, the first round matches were closed tonight (between Tuesday and Wednesday), and of all the surprising losses so far by the top seeds in the tournament, there is no doubt that the loss that attracts the most criticism is that of Emma Radukno, the reigning champion.

As I remember, the 19-year-old Briton did everything she could against her 10 rivals in the previous championship (she started her way in the qualifiers) all the way to hoisting a historic trophy.

But tonight, she lost in the very first round to veteran Frenchman Elise Corne and once again drew rivers of criticism of her ability over the past year.

"Emma Radukno is the biggest proof that tennis is the only sport that rewards luck above all else. Calling her average is an insult to average players. There are better amateur girls than her," wrote one of the netizens.

Along with these, there were also those who compared what the young Brit is going through at the moment, to what the Japanese Naomi Osaka went through in the past.

Another surfer wrote: "The comments I'm already seeing about Emma Radukno are crazy. It seems that people have learned nothing from the incessant bullying Naomi (Osaka) received. Emma is 19, let her live."

And if all this is not enough, then the British woman is now facing a turning point that could lead to a major crisis for her.

Following the loss, and of course because she won last year, Radukno will lose no less than 2,000 ranking points, and is expected to drop to the 80th place in the world.
